Volvo Body Build
When it comes to quality, there is nothing about the Volvo car that can induce even the strongest critic to comment negatively. After all, with all the international interest the car generates, it would have to! Every inch of the Volvo car is perfected and the assembly of the car is very carefully done, so that the future buyer would have no problems with the body and all its parts.
Volvo cars are indeed the epitome of sleekness! For example, take a look at the second generation Volvo S40. It is clean, subtle and original! Some critics felt that it looked like an Audi A4, which it would until you looked at the unique soft snub nose, which is possible because of its rounded front corners and the extremely efficient engine. The rear corners are also slightly pushed in, making the word ’style’, extremely appropriate. When looked at from all sides, the car is a typical Volvo, but the front grille, with the unmistakable headlights and the front air dam make it unique. The rocker panels are wider in the rear giving the car an illusion of forward rake and more motion. The sloping roofline that meets an abrupt cliff at a ninety degree angle might have looked awkward on any other car, but this Volvo pulls it off to perfection, all lines cascading together to give it a futuristic, lovely look.
All Volvo Cars are inspired! From the Volvo YCC, which certainly impressed, to the Volvo SCC, which redefined safety in automobiles, Volvo Cars are certainly imaginative and designed to give the driver control and precision. Volvo is working on designing cars that appeal to a large audience and would enable them to travel more comfortably and with less number of problems. The YCC is a concept car that is to meet the needs of all women drivers. This car is to be nearly maintenance free and to make sure that women everywhere will have fewer problems with the car. The car is sleek, and looks, on the first glance to be a slightly futuristic four-seat coupe. There is a low front end, a long rear window, and the upper body is muscular and elegant, which gives it a sporty look and the driver, full control of the car.
The Volvo SCC, or the Volvo Safety Concept Car, certainly makes the passenger feel extremely secure and comfortable. With See through A-pillars, ‘invisible’ B-pillars, Active rearview Mirrors, Rearward-facing mirrors, Adaptive headlights, night vision, collision warning sensors, lane centering, flashing brake lights, and four point safety belts, this car covers almost all the possible security one might need while traveling. And this car is another example of something truly Volvo. It molds style, comfort and beauty with security, achieving what most other cars only try to.
Lean, tidy, compact and slender, Volvo cars announce your presence even before you’ve stepped out of the car. So, it isn’t a wonder why Volvo is so popular, and well-liked. After all, when one needs to travel in style and comfort, one does not have to look further than Volvo!
